Bifurcating (2008)
inspired by this series of lectures by Manuel Delanda where he is explaining his reading of Gilles Deleuze.
My fascination for the ideas of Deleuze has to do with the idea that the concept of becoming (central to all things 'Deleuzian') is extended to the non human world, for instance stones, clouds or even photographs.
Deleuze also explains a lot of characteristics in this becoming have to do with the 'virtual' where non lineair mathematics, attractors and the instability of a system (the bifurcation) allow for sudden changes and the complexity of the world we experience.
Delanda explains this in this video (and also in his books) in a lucid way, and may probably change your thinking about the world as it is.
